Meet Kendra Weaver, Trade Pro Manager Fort Myers

Kendra Weaver is the Trade Pro Manager at the Fort Myers Tile Outlets of America store location. She is extremely knowledgeable having worked in a number of positions almost since the launch of the organization in 2002. Whatever questions you have as a Trade Professional, you can be sure you will receive expert support from Kendra.
We caught up with her to learn more about her newest role.
Introducing Kendra Weaver, Trade Pro Manager for the Fort Myers Store
TOA: Kendra, tell us about yourself and your background.
KW: I have lived in SW Florida most of my life. My parents moved to Naples when I was just under a year old. I was a pretty quiet kid, man how things change!
TOA: When and how did you get started with Tile Outlets of America?
KW: I started in October of 2005 as a cashier.
My uncle worked here at the time and suggested I fill out and application. I never could have imagined how that decision would change my whole world. I've held many positions here over my almost 19 years.
My goal with the company is to always be where I'm needed so every few years my job titles seem to change. Always learning and growing.

TOA: Kendra, as the Trade Pro manager, what are your priorities?
KW: My top priority is making sure our contractors are being heard and taken care of.
I check in with them regularly to ensure we are providing them with everything they need to complete their jobs in a timely manner.
TOA: What do you love most about this role?
KW: Honestly, I love how my job is always changing.
I wear many hats here so I'm always doing something. I like to call myself the company Gopher: "What do you need?, where can I help?" and I take care of those priorities.
TOA: Which are your favorite products and why?
KW: One of my favorite current products is Palma 24x48 (207335) It's a wallpaper look tile. I love a good accent wall!

TOA: Kendra, which is your favorite installation in the Inspiration Area?
KW: As a former cabinet designer here at Tile Outlets I'm a little partial to our White shaker cabinet installation using the Oikos Hex mosaic (152321). I love how clean and fresh it looks. It's super modern while still being timeless.

TOA: What advice do you have for first time contractor customers?
KW: The 1st thing to do is sign up for our Trade Pro program. We offer discounts and quarterly rebates based on your spending.
TOA: What are some of the top questions trade pros ask you?
KW: They will ask me "How does the Trade Pro program work?"
The answer is, after you sign up all you have to do is shop! All your purchases count towards your quarterly rebates.
Our most frequent shoppers get the biggest discounts and rebates as well.
TOA: How can contractors contact you?
KW: I'm available in the Fort Myers store Monday- Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM.

TOA: What do you like to do outside of Tile Outlets of America?
KW: I'm a mom to 2 amazing kiddos, so that's a good chunk of my time!!
I'm a PTO mom, a local actor and a Disney adult!! My social dance card is usually pretty full, someone always has somewhere to be!
